In 2010 Silversea will implement the Relais & Chateaux L'Ecole des Chefs. This new programme will feature the Silversea Executive chef/culinary instructor in an innovative new programme partnered with the Relais & Chateaux brand name, and provides a new Cookery School concept.
With a strong background teaching culinary classes for Cordon Bleu, Executive Chef David Bisland will travel between five ships to offer regionalised culinary classes..
A series of voyages with Chef David performing the cooking classes, along with market tours are planned. Likewise, the wine programme will feature wine expert Lyn Farmer on selected voyages, adding wine education and pairings to the cooking school.
David will offer a series of events and classes on each L'Ecole sailing that celebrate the cuisine of the region in which the ship is sailing.
